Hosea 13:6-8

New American Standard Bible

⁶ As they had their pasture, they became ^(A)satisfied,
And as they became satisfied, their ^(B)heart became proud;
Therefore they ^(C)forgot Me.
⁷ So I will be ^(D)like a lion to them;
Like a ^(E)leopard I will ^[a]lie in wait by the wayside.
⁸ I will confront them ^(F)like a bear deprived of her cubs,
And I will tear open ^[b]their chests;
I will also ^(G)devour them there like a lioness,
As a wild animal would tear them to pieces.
